Hi all
I hope this hasn't already been mentioned, if so, I apologize. 2K is releasing a collection of Stronghold games. Here is a quote from Shack News:

Hello, I'm from Italy, so I'll see this collection only in 2010...  I'd like to know what this collection is expected to contain. 
Do you already know if Stronghold Collection will include any posters, gadgets, or at least a precious package containing every CD and DVD? I actually own Stronghold 1, 2 and Legends, only Crusader Extreme lacks into my collection (I don't want to buy Crusader): would be a good deal to wait for the Collection release, instead of buy Crusader Extreme now? |

Well, extreme is with super powers and stones falling out of the sky without having used any trebuchet or catapult, its a bit fake....., but that doesnt mean it can't be fun anymore though.......
Besides that does it contain every CD and DVD of the stronghold serie, but I dont know if there are any posters with it..... |

Yes, I know how Crusader Extreme is, but it's still possibile to play the normal Crusader campaigns and matches with it...right??
Anyway, the problem is not Crusader.  I simply want to know if this collection will include any bonus item for a true Stronghold fan. Please, post a photo of the package as soon as possible, ok?  Meanwhile, I'll search by myself for this package on the web. |

So? Did anyone find any information/picture about Stronghold Collection?
There's actually a small picture of the package on the Gamestop site
But since the game should be already in stores in USA, I hope someone will give us more informations.
Anyway, looks like there's no special content. It seems to be only a cheap collection of all the game chapters. |

| They are DRM free I heard, so you can get them to run on Mac's and stuff. |

| Good news all. I went to Wal-Mart tonight looking for the Stronghold Collection, and I almost had a heartattack when I saw it. They had if for $29.95 USD. |

I already heard this news...now I can get Stronghold2 and Stronghold Crusader (YEAH!)...but in Belguim it comes out in 2010 
and that's not all the bad news...because the announcement of THE MMORPG of Stronghold(Stronghold Kingdoms),and an action RPG dungeon hero
(action RPG!!!for firefly...I hope that it will not be laggy...but I trust in firefly!)
I think that it will be over with the Stronghold games!
I will mis it...

Looking to buy any of the Stronghold game titles?
It appears that on October 27th, 2009 2K Games released a Stronghold Collection on DVD-ROM. It includes all 5 games - the original Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader, Stronghold 2, Stronghold Legends and Stronghold Crusader Extreme.
I happened to find it at Amazon.com (U.S. storefront link) priced at just under $30.00 U.S. and it is also suppose to be available at GameStop according to the FireFly Worlds website. You apparently can't buy it online at GameStop and must either visit or call your local store to see if they have it in stock.
This is exceptionally great news  , whether you are new to any of the Stronghold games or just looking to replace your old worn out copies!

| Lovely - I have yet to see evidence that it is available in the UK, I had no results from the UK Amazon site, nor Play.com and I haven't seen it in store so far. |

Regardless, my original Stronghold is getting a bit worn out and I might just have to buy this. |

I believe it refers to "Digital Rights Management". I don't know why someone would actually point this out specifically, unless they are thinking about making illegal pirated copies  .
