We recently realised that many map makers are not aware that stone stairs can be added to just about anything, including buildings and terrain.  As such, we've created this mini-tutorial o­n how it's done...

This useful trick allows you to attach walls to all kinds of buildings and even terrain!  And the best part of all is that as long as they are "level" with the top and bottom of whatever they are attached to, your troops will be able to use them.

Let us look at adding stone stairs to wooden walls and walkways (or anything else for that matter)...

Because the "stair" tool does not recognise the wooden walkway as something that can have stairs, we need to place a single piece of wall (as shown by the purple arrow) next to our wooden walkway and then we place the stairs next to it as shown in the picture above.

Once you have created the stairs, you can delete that original piece of stone wall and the stairs will remain.
