Armed Peasants
 | Gold | | 5 | Freeman
(Rank: 1) | Armor: | None | Your peasants can now rise up against the enemy armed with a pitchfork; unfortunately they have had no military training and are extremely weak. Good for finding where the enemy has placed tricks and traps. | | Honor | | 0 | Speed: | Fast | | Weapon | None | Shot Range: | None | | Armor | None | Hand to Hand: | Poor | | Effective Against: | Rabbits? |
Spearman
 | Gold | | 8 | Knight
(Rank: 4) | Armor: | None | These are one of the first melee troops you have access to and are relatively cheap to produce. Having no armor makes them quicker than most troops and they prove useful for pushing ladders off of walls. | | Honor | | 0 | Speed: | Fast | | Spear | | Shot Range: | None | | Armor | None | Hand to Hand: | Poor | | Effective Against: | Weak units. |
Archer
 | Gold | | 12 | Knight
(Rank: 4) | Armor: | None | These are your standard long-range troops. Their lack of armor makes them one of the quickest units in the game but in hand-to-hand combat, archers are virtually useless. They have a long firing range and are very effective against units that don't wear any armor; units with metal armor present more of a challenge to them however. | | Honor | | 2 | Speed: | Fast | | Bow | | Shot Range: | Long Range | | Armor | None | Hand to Hand: | Poor | | Effective Against: | Units with no armor. |
Pikeman
 | Gold | | 20 | Knight Bachelor

They are able to take a lot of damage and are ideal for blocking access to areas of the castle. | | Honor | | 2 | Speed: | Medium | | Pike | | Shot Range: | None | | Metal Armor | | Hand to Hand: | Good defence, poor offence. | | Effective Against: | Armored units. |
Crossbowman
 | Gold | | 20 | Knight Errant
(Rank: 6) | Armor: | Medium | These units are slower to move and reload and have a much shorter range than archers. They are however very accurate and their deadly bolts can easily penetrate metal armor making them excellent medium range missile troops. | | Honor | | 2 | Speed: | Medium | | Crossbow | | Shot Range: | Medium | | Leather Armor | | Hand to Hand: | Poor | | Effective Against: | Units with metal armor. |
Swordsman

Knight
